Hi guys! I'm finally done with my
FIRST ROUND of themed
Candy Tube Party Favors by me :) I feel like I have something really
special with these tubes. As of now, there's nothing at all like them around. Candy tubes at this point have just been used to show off the
candy inside with maybe a sticker or tag but no one right now is styling them the way that I am and that's totally not to toot my own horn but I'm really
proud of that.
Back when I first started my
Etsy Shop, I didn't think of myself as a
creative or someone with such great ideas. I started with things that I saw were popular, that I knew how to make, and things that hundreds of other people were also selling. It was a start, I got customers but I didn't really believe in what I was doing so I ended up closing the shop and just focusing on party planning. In early June, a friend of mine was having a party for her son with a
Lumberjack theme and I wanted to contribute something really special, and it just came to me....and
AXE would be great! I thought about how I could make one and what would be it's role in the party and that's how the Candy Tube Party Favors started.
It wasn't until recently that I thought about making an entire line of these guys and styling them to match just about any party theme.
I have TONS of ideas for them in all different shapes and sizes but here's my starting line up. And also a photo of the party that started it all by Dawn Menon of
Bee*s Knees Parties.
The 1st Round: Sesame Street Street Sign, Crayon, North Pole Sign, The Axe, and Rocket
You already know The Witch's Broom! Halloween, limited edition ;)
*This is the party that stared it all lol (so dramatic!), Dawn styled each Axe with a personalized tag and put a chocolate and sprinkle dipped pretzel inside each one.
